A letter from our CEO/Founder
Thank you for visiting The Hatching Hope Foundation website. You may have heard about our organization in a number of ways. Like me, you may be the parent of an autistic child. Or maybe you are a friend or relative who wants to give support to a loved one touched by autism. Perhaps you contributed to the fight against autism in the past, but now want to help sponsor the fight against autism in the DFW Metroplex. You could be a school administrator, a daycare center owner, or work professionally with children in another capacity and want to increase your staff's awareness of this growing epidemic that now affects 1 in 68 children. Whatever your reasons are for visiting our website, we are glad you have decided to learn more about how we are helping our community in the fight against autism.
The Hatching Hope Foundation was formed to give families living with autism hope when they need it most! My personal experience living with autism hasn’t been a fairytale. I have endured all the emotions that come with the reality and uncertainty of autism. But through it all, I have grown immensely.
I am proud to lead the Hatching Hope Foundation in not only creating greater autism awareness in minority and under-represented communities, but to help give autistic children and their families everywhere the chance to live more normal and fulfilling lives. HHF believes one way to achieve this is by developing a strong base of support from corporations and businesses that have a stake in our mission. Furthermore, HHF plans to collaborate with local, state, and federal agencies – as well as the educational sector -- to more effectively get the word out about autism to all communities.
The HHF is totally committed to increasing awareness of the growing epidemic of autism and its affect in our local communities. We invite you to join our cause.
Warmest regards and HOPE for all,
Sabrina Vaughn, Founder/Executive Director
